Nov 3, 2017 · Posted November 6, 2017. Looking at the URL on the screenshot, you're downloading the current stable. What you need to do is go into the Windows Defender Antivirus settings. Somewhere in there you should be able to create an exception, possibly on some sort of white list, for uTorrent.exe. Once done, uTorrent should download just fine.

Just exit utorrent, switch off what you want, start your computer and restart utorrent - and utorrent will continue all your torrents.

HDD ss 2TB --> local download torrent file. uTorrent version 3.41 and default setting After I add torrent to uTorrent for download, Within a minute uTorrent, browser, OS is crashes. I download to HDD and file size 20GB+ with speed < 200kb/s. I run uTorrent as Admin it problem.

Before hibernating my system (or putting it into standby mode), I exit uTorrent rather than simply stopping/starting (or pausing/unpausing) torrents, because uTorrent will take up to 20 minutes to remap the UPnP port. Every time I download a torrent,usually a big file,uTorrent shuts down my PC, and then it (my PC) restarts,but when I pause or stop the download my PC doesn't shut down. I have looked at the FAQ and the incompatibility software section,I use Bitdefender internet security suit,which is not incompatible.
Jan 5, 2013 · Torrents that I download usually save to a downloads folder I have, but somehow the directory has been changed from that downloads folder to "c\". I attempted to download a small file and will provide a screenshot to let you know what I mean below. I'm assuming "c\" means the C hard drive, right? But I'm not sure.

If you've set uTorrent's half open connection rate too high, Windows overloads and even after shutting down uTorrent it may take a couple minutes to clear up. ...aggrievated worse by new connections coming in of peers/seeds trying to recontact you even after shutting down uTorrent.

Then I tried downloading the same torrent in my phone using the utorrent app, as soon as it has created the files, I cancelled the download. Then I deleted all the files inside the created folder and then I transferred the files from the PC to the folder created in the phone.
