Jun 26, 2019 · I had tried using AirtelTV app on Firestick. But since the app is intended to use on touch screens, navigation was nearly impossible in TV. I tried even installing 3rd party app for enabling 'cursor' in Firestick and control via mobile app, still wasn't successful. (ie CetusPlay) Not sure about TataSky app, but might run into same problems.
Apr 6, 2013 · It's not just Tata Sky, but other providers have a similar situation. I'm using the standard In-Digital set-top box and almost every US TV channels airing movies and TV shows have hard-coded subtitles in them. It was present right from the time when we had standard cable transmission.
Apr 9, 2011 · 11-April-2011 is my next recharge date, and I don't want to recharge/use TATA SKY Services for 1-2 Months Please tell me What Happens if I Stop recharging TATA SKY for upcoming 1/2 Months? I mean to say, is there any type of fine later on for resuming the Connection OR Does my Digi Card/Subscription completely expires (just like Prepaid Mobile SIM after some months) and I have to purchase Digi Card again? etc. etc.
Jul 4, 2021 · I doubt anyone would have both services installed at the same time. I started using Tata Sky DTH again after nearly 1.5 years and the HD quality is really good for most channels. I thought I would be spoilt because of watching 4k rips etc, but last night I watched a movie by chance and the quality felt extremely nice.

I would have straight gone for Tata but then I have Airtel FTTH and they are giving some discounts so included it as an option. Already 3 members in my building...

(1) Currently I am using a Tata Sky HD+ connection and it has 2 wires connected to the DISH. Unfortunately in the new house, the wiring that has internally already been done, only one RG6 Co-axial cable has been pulled. when I called Tata Sky customer care they insisted that we require RG59 cables and that RG6 cables will not work.

Mar 11, 2011 · Go for tata sky without a doubt as they have at present 7 true hd channels as i know. All true hd with 5.1 surroud sound. I use it and its awesome experience. Also another thing to note is tata sky gives all these 7 channels in just 50 rs while dish tv is very costly like some hd channels costing upto 100 per channel.

On changing channels it lags, takes atleast 1 second to change channel, then like 2 second black screen and then it changes. I remember earlier it was smooth. Anyone else facing it ? I guess all these updates you are forced to do made it so. who else facing it ?
