Here, the 2.2L, 16-valve diesel with a variable geometry turbocharger produces 154 BHP (4,000 rpm) and as the name indicates, 400 Nm of torque (1,750 - 2,500 rpm).
May 7, 2021 · Used Tata Safari Storme Pros. Still has a badass personality & mega presence! You can also brag about owning the "original" Safari. Was considerably improved over the earlier car. Better handling, steering & brakes. Competent 2.2L diesel motor with excellent driveability, superb refinement & mature power delivery.
Feb 27, 2023 · With the bonnet clearly visible, very easy to judge corners. The turning radius is surprisingly small for such a large vehicle at 5.4m, can do most of the turns that a Baleno can do at 4.9m. Superb headlights, typical of a Tata. Double barrel with low beam being halogen projectors and high beams being reflectors.
Today the Storme did not crank out of the blue after a 10 km drive and parking the car for a couple of hours. All the lights, horn and power windows work but car does not start, it just sort of clicks. Finally jump started the car successfully with the help of a friend and drove back home.
Re: Tata Safari Storme : Official Review Recently have been observing that when I accelerate immediately post upshifting to either 2nd or 3rd gear, there seems to be smoke coming out of the exhaust. This mostly happens when it is slightly hard acceleration and in typical traffic signal scenario or speed breaker scenario where you slow down and then accelerate while changing gears to a higher gear.
