Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, named after the great son of India, Shaheed-e-Azam, Sardar Bhagat Singh, was established as a co-educational college in 1967 as a constituent college of University of Delhi. It acquired postgraduate status in record time of 7 years.

All the UG courses are offered as Honours and General courses. Selection is based on Common University Entrance Test (CUET) conducted by NTA.
Shaheed Bhagat Singh Evening College has a dedicated and experienced faculty for teaching regular and honors courses like B.A. and B.A. honors in the fields of Commerce, Geography, English, Economics, History, Political Science, Hindi, and Physical Education.
