Apr 22, 2024 · In order to improve the infrastructure for all-day education and care for children of primary school age and to guarantee a corresponding demand-oriented offer, the Bundestag and the Bundesrat passed the "Act on the All-Day Support of Children of Primary School Age" (Ganztagsförderungsgesetz – GaFöG) in 2021.
