It has a small (although useful) subset of the features of the desktop application. This is something Word Online is not set up to do.

One thing to be aware of: the cover page ends with a Page Break, which you should delete along with the page's other content. Click the ¶ button on the Home tab to be able to see the break and be sure it's selected.

Apr 14, 2016 · If you want the numbering in the Second Section to start from one, use the Next Section button to go to that Section and then click the Page Number dropdown and Select Format Page Numbers and then under the Page numbering section of the Page Number Format dialog, select the "Start at" radio button and then set the starting number.
Nov 27, 2019 · Without seeing the status bar, it's hard to be sure, but likely you're in Web Layout view (it could also be Draft view, but that's a lot harder to get into inadvertently). Click the icon for Print Layout view on the status bar, or choose that view on the View tab to get back to the normal layout. Microsoft MVP (Word) since 1999.
Anyway I finished the resume and I have a blank page at the end that i cannot seem to get to delete. I've googled multiple ways to get rid of the page & i must've tried at least 10+ different ways using 4+ different websites (INCLUDING the office 365 help center) and NOTHING seems to work.
