Mar 13, 2022 · i used to play ppsspp on an older laptop with a ps4 controller. it worked perfectly back then with no problems. until the beginning of 2021, i bought an Acer Helios 700 laptop with a ps5 controller. i copied all my emulators from the past laptop to the new one with a usb. when it comes to pcsx2 and rpcs3 they works fine to this day with zero problems. it's the ppsspp that gives me the weird thing where it refuses to detect my ps5 controller. at first i thought that it just is not compatible ...

1st of all there is ORDER in which gamepads are recoqnized by ur pc in short of it they have numbers 1.2.3.4.....and so go on u need to determine which gamepad is which cause that order apply to every emulator or game u are playing on ur pc for sake of u understanding what im trying to teach you lets call it SPECIAL ORDER

And it when I scroll up or down it uses the up/down arrow keys. Rbutton::o. Lbutton::i. MButton::Suspend, Toggle. Esc::ExitApp. This one is pretty self-explainatory, my left mouse click is remapped to the "i" key, and the right click to the "o" key. In my controls settings I'll bind them to triangle and circle.
