May 19, 2017 · What worked for me is: make sure java path is available: $ which java. /usr/bin/java. then in etc/netbeans.conf make sure netbeans_jdkhome is commented out. in Finder go to /bin/ click on netbeans (terminal icon) You would expect ./netbeans --jdkhome=/usr/bin/java to work, but it doesn't for some reason.

Feb 23, 2017 · Find a .nbi folder under C:\Users\folder. This folder has .nbi folder under it. Open a command prompt and Go to NetBeans folder which has uninstall.exe. Run this command in the command prompt: uninstall.exe --userdir c:\Users\folder\\.nbi. folder is the folder you found in step 1. This uninstalled for me.
I am new to Netbeans and I am trying to install JUnit in the IDE. I have searched multiple places and can not find a clear answer. I am running Windows8 with the latest updates and Netbeans 8.0.2. I have downloaded the jar file for JUnit opened Tools => Plugins then Downloaded tab. I select the jar file but nothing happens.
Jan 7, 2012 · Go to the Tools menu and select Plugins. Click on the "Available Plugins" tab. Check the box for "Java EE Base" (note: on older NetBeans versions, the plugin to install was called "Java Web Applications"). Click the "Install" button. Click your way through the dialogs until the plugin and its dependencies are installed.

I would upgrade to newer Netbeans 7.1 or wait few days/weeks for 7.2, it can be a bug in Netbeans 6.8. I just add to previous two solutions, that you can increase size temporary with ALT(CTRL) + mouse wheel as in browser. (ALT in Netbeans 7.2, CTRL in Netbeans 7.1)

It got stuck with scan for external changes suspended. 2. and after this came, the auto-load also got fails. It shows please wait... only. Due to this I am planning to change my IDE. Is there any way to overcome this?
