First, based on my experience/knowledge, it's not like a person joins Cisco Networking Academy per se; it's more like a person enrolls in a school that offers Cisco Networking courses, and the school itself belongs to Cisco Networking Academy; and as a result, once you register for the Cisco Networking courses, your instructor will give you a Net Acad account.
