Modern College of Pharmacy is part of one of the most prestigious educational institutions of pune namely Progressive Education Society (PES).The history of PES goes long back into the pre-independence era, When education had overtones of Patriotism and Social Obligation.

Modern College of Pharmacy was established in 1998 by Progressive Education Society at Nigdi, Pune. It is located in close proximity of the Industrial belt of Pimpri-Chinchwad. The college is approved by Government of Maharashtra, AICTE, PCI, and UGC and permanently affiliated to University of Pune.
Modern College of Pharmacy Nigdi offers undergraduate, postgraduate and research courses in pharmacy with an annual intake of over 150 candidates. Candidates can submit applications offline. For undergraduate courses, applicants must have obtained higher secondary examination certificate.
