Oct 27, 2023 · A text box has a fixed length, so a short name leaves a gap in your text whereas a long text may not be shown in full length. Text fields with variable length are embedded in the text flow. Hit Ctrl+F2, tab “Variables” and set up a variable name and value. Now you can insert and copy the field with that value anywhere in your document.

Feb 26, 2019 · In the meantime, you might check that “transparency” has not been enabled somewhere. Go to menu Format → Paragraph → Transparency and make sure that the entry for No Transparency has been checked. Do the same for menu Format → Page → Transparency and select No Transparency. May 10, 2019 · I found TWO very EASY ways to delete an unwanted page. Method 1-is go to the first GOOD page… put cursor at the very LAST space on that page and hit CONTROL DELETE. Second page disappeared! Method 2 -put cursor at the very FIRST space available on the page you want deleted and again hit CONTROL DELETE.
Nov 12, 2014 · Using Page Break doesn’t work : it doesn’t shift images. Since the document is app. 200 pages long, I can’t do the shifting manually. There’s got to be a way to insert a page (I want new title pages for sections).
