Jul 20, 2021 · To remove that space and so getting the frame numbers right aligned, you could use the \@gobbletwo command that ignores the next two commands \nobreak\hfill: It's a quick hack though. One could or should redefine the footline template with some more effort, but it works for now.

On TeX Stack Exchange, Gonzalo Medina has posted a beautiful example of how to put a progress bar in a beamer presentation: Progress bar for latex-beamer. I would really like to have the first bar, but with the numbering from the third bar.
The problem isn't with beamer, it's with your method of acquiring it. Use tlmgr, that's what it's for. The easiest thing is usually to run it with the GUI. Again, I could provide more information about how to do this with info about your operating system. But the manual for tlmgr is here:
Dec 22, 2010 · I have an issue with Latex BEAMER when it comes to footnotes. I want to use footnotes in a certain format which is easy to achieve using the "footmisc" package and the "hang" option in Latex. However, in Latex BEAMER this does not really work. What I GET in Beamer is: 1 Text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text.

Aug 4, 2010 · I don't know if it is possible to change a theme in mid-flight (Beamer is rather inflexible about smaller things..), but since the output file is pdf, you can use two themes, and merge the two pdf files using any number of pdf-handling programs, such as Adobe Acrobat or pdfhelper.
Jan 18, 2010 · since no-one has replied, let me volunteer some ideas - they are untested, do get back to us with your solution if you find one. here \raggedright sets left-justify. Note that the default paragraph environment is to justify both left and right. As I said, these are untested, but the general idea should set you on a course.
