Sep 1, 2024 · Give running the main iCloud app as an administrator a shot. Just click the Start button to find iCloud in the recently added section, right-click on it, and choose 'Run as Administrator.' It’s a good idea to uninstall and reinstall iCloud before you move forward.

The problem is from your side as many people on the internet. just check apple forums, Reddit, and superuser (Stack Exchange website) a lot of power users claim that the iCloud drive is killing their Power-Hungry PCs.
