Apr 16, 2024 · iCloud stuck on initialising - common troubleshoots did not work iCloud Drive suddenly stopped syncing my files and is since stuck on initialising. I already signed out and back in, rebooted, shut my pc down completely, reinstalled the windows executable version and tried the Microsoft Store version.

Sep 10, 2017 · After a bit of playing around with different possible fixes... I found one that worked immediately. 1. Open iCloud Drive in Finder on your Mac. 2. Create a new folder called "Test". 3. Delete the "Test" folder. The creation of a new folder in iCloud Drive triggers the syncing mechanism.

May 8, 2019 · I'm having the same problem. There's nothing in my iCloud Drive, and I've already turned if off on Settings > "My name" > iCloud > iCloud Drive. When you turn off Desktop & Documents Folders, your files stay in iCloud Drive and a new Desktop and Documents folder is created on your Mac in the home folder.
