Aug 26, 2022 · Almost every game is built to the high edge gpus of the time at barely playable fps with all eye candy on. For your 3070 laptop edition, while higher end, it may not even perform to the same spec as a 3070 desktop due to power limitations. Maybe a 3060 equivalent.

Start at highest preset and work way down. FSR 2 will look better than XeSS if you use sharpness, so use if the game is too blurry for you)

My system is verbatim the recommended (high) system provided by portkey games so i didn't understand why my game was running terribly. Jan 12, 2023 · The 3700X is 8core/16thread and 3.6GHz base clock. They all have the same core/thread count and the PS5 is 0.1Ghz slower while the XSX is the slightly faster with cores but the same with the threads. The PS5 and XSX both dedicate part of their performance to system operation and make games unable to access that.

But that's just in Raster, a heavy RT workload would still cripple the 7900 XTX. Just look at how AMD cards perform in a path-traced game, it's a massacre. And even in Hogwarts legacy, turning on RT all the way up means a 70% reduction in performance. the plan is to pull a full blown dx12tovkRT to just boost the cards speed through software
