Jan 10, 2018 · You can use either the App of the same name 'Hik-Connect' or the 'IVMS-4500' App. Both are available for Android or IOS (from the usual places Google Play App Store / iTunes App Store). People feed back that the 4500 App is the more basic of the two.
Nov 29, 2022 · (more likely the issue) The Hik-Connect app does not have permission to access devices on your local network. This appears at some point when installing the app, but is sometimes delayed and easily missed. On iOS this is in Settings > Hik-Connect > Local network (the switch must be on). There will be a similar setting on Android.

I don`t know why app does`t prompt for the key. {EDIT} I delete NVR from the app (hik connect access platform) and again add..app prompt for the key. But still have problem accesing via IP. Oct 18, 2019 · When I enable 'Platform Access Mode' on individual cameras, I am able to rename those cameras using the Hik-Connect app. The hik-connect server IP is set to 'litedev.eu.hik-connect.com' in the individual cameras web interface whereas the NVR points to 'dev.eu.hik-connect.com'. Sep 17, 2022 · However when you then log in to the app for access to your device on Hik-Connect, that ends up at the bottom of the list. It's quite surprising that Hikvision don't have a simple 'click and drag to rearrange' the list. It should be relatively easy to add yet it's always been that way on Hik-Connect and previously on iVMS-4500.
Sep 18, 2018 · My device is displayed as offline in the HikConnect app. The router is online, the web interface is accessible via the IP of the device and in the configurations the connection to HikConnect is shown as online. If I want to connect the device to the app it says that the device is connected to the router but cannot connect to the internet.
