May 8, 2024 · Hades II (spoiler-free honest review) Hades II. I've made it pretty much end-game, minus final boss fight & it's been a decent experience. I'm not a usual fan of rogue-likes, etc (Hades was my first one), so it's been a learning curve. I'll summarize my thoughts in 3 for people who need help deciding whether to play early access or not. Positives:
Oct 8, 2020 · Personally, I'd use Artemis or Aphrodite myself over Demeter or Dionysus, but Demeter is also a valid choice. I'd just take critical hits or a higher special % damage. Demeter ranges from +108-120% special damage on a level 1 epic rarity, whereas Aphrodite ranges from +144-160% on the same conditions.
Endarire. • 4 yr. ago. That depends on what you mean by "beating" the game. If you mean slaying the final boss the first time, that took me about 40 hours and more than 40 attempts to get that far. If you want to get every ending or get *everything* from Hades, that takes notably longer. Reply.
Take your time, collect loot & have fun. Dont skip dialogue, speak with anyone between the runs, enjoy. Game tracks the dialogues in a queue, so if you need a specific dialogue to trigger for reward, game will push earlier lines first so it is best to speak often. Try out different weapons and switch around your keys.

I was thinking a couple days ago how hilarious would be a game like Hades but with characters from the Bible. An axe that looks like a cross called "Aspect of Jesus", a spear called "Aspect of Longinus"...
Played 99% with mkb. Both input methods have their pros and cons. Controller movement and dashing is way better because unlimited directions. Mkb has only 8 directions to walk/dash to which can stir up trouble some times. Melee weapons + mkb will give you the chance to kite enemies which is essential in higher heat.

As a bit of background, I am a content creator and do things like work on algorithms to evaluate and predict card values and synergies in Hearthstone (Lightforge Tier List).
Sep 27, 2021 · Take Artemis's Attack Boon, and put every Pom you get into it. There are other boons - like Support Fire - that will help this build, but just basic Flurry Shot makes the bow much faster and (IMO) easier. Of course, one of the great things about this game is that people all like different builds/weapons, so ymmv. 3.
Aug 4, 2022 · The Olympians, oblivious of the truth (excluding Hermes), thought Zag was escaping to reach Olympus, and lends their help to Zag - which is how the game begins. Everything takes much time. Persephone (P) was livinig with Hades (H) and it was more or less their decission. it wasn't optimal in terms of safety. Zagreus is born dead.
