On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Maps app . Tap your profile picture or initial Location sharing. Tap a contact who shared with you before. Tap Request Request. After you ask for your contact’s location, they get your email address, a notification and can: Find your profile to verify who you are.

Under “Share your real-time location,” toggle the time selector to Until you turn this off. On the people suggestions row, scroll to the right and tap More . In the search bar, enter a name, phone number, or email. Important: The location sharing recipient must have a Gmail account. At the top, tap Share.
On your computer, go to Timeline. Find the place that you want to change on Timeline and click Down arrow . Choose the correct place or search for a place in the search box. To edit when you were there, click the time. Important: When you delete Location History info from Timeline, you can't view it on Timeline in the future.
Get the coordinates of a place. On your computer, open Google Maps. Right-click the place or area on the map. This will open a pop-up window. You can find your latitude and longitude in decimal format at the top. To copy the coordinates automatically, left click on the latitude and longitude.
If the result is what you want, click Add to map. Edit a place. On your computer, sign in to My Maps. Open or create a map. Click an existing place on the map. In the bottom right of the box that appears, use the icons to make changes. Remove a photo: Click Edit . Then go to the photo and click Remove . Move place: Drag the feature on the map.
