Fossil’s Gen 6 Wellness Edition comes pre-loaded with Wear OS 3. Other Gen 6 designs from us are still being manufactured as well and are getting assembled with Wear OS 3 this fall. However, there is existing inventory already built and on store shelves that are preloaded with Wear OS 2.
Jan 10, 2022 · Fossil Gen 6 - charging issues. Support. I received a Fossil Gen 6 watch as a gift for Christmas and I've been having difficulty charging it. If I charge it before it dies I can generally get it to charge. If I let the battery die I have a heck of a time getting it to charge. It is extremely finicky.
Sep 29, 2021 · Fossil Gen 6 Quick Review. Hello everyone. I received my Gen 6 today and have been using it for hours. I wanted to give a quick review for those who are getting theirs soon; or thinking of getting one. I am coming from a Gen 5 for those who may be wondering. Build quality. The build quality is definitely better.
You can try going into Setting>About>Versions. Then tap on wear os and home app, see if you get the update after that in system updates. This worked for me, since it wasnt auto pushing the new updates even when I manually click on system updates. I hope this update is the new WearOs 3.X for our Gen6.

Galaxy Watch things which will not work without a samsung phone do not exist in gen 6 - so, this is not a best argument. get 6 is an old watch on an old chipset running a one year old OS and will not be updated even to the current version (wearos 4).
Oct 20, 2022 · for the record, I have a Pixel 6 and Fossil gen 6 smartwatch. I've been using smartwatches since the first Moto360 back in 2014. after tapping 30 times (or 30 seconds) on the "up to date" screen on the watch, the wearOS 3.0 software began to download.
Jun 30, 2022 · Rings were probably simply glued with some sort of acrylic which tend to get sticky with heat. There, it shouldn't get as warm because of the difference in power. So there is a good chance the glue will stay strong enough. Our Hybrids HR gen 1 doesn't get hot on the contrary of the gen 5 Carlyle, for example ! 2.
Dec 13, 2021 · Moving from gen5 to gen6 is seamless. Difference is much better battery life. One thing I miss with the Gen 6 though is in later Gen 5 firmwares, you can double press the top button to launch Google Pay, why Fossil took this out in the Gen 6 I'll never know. You can customize the buttons in gen6.
