Windows 10 will have Internet Explorer 11 installed as well as Edge. Click Start and start typing Internet Explorer in the search bar to find it.

It's not possible to completely uninstall Internet Explorer from Windows 7; it can only be disabled so it doesn't look like it's installed. To bring it back, go to the Control Panel and open Programs and Features. Then, select "Turn Windows features on or off". Internet Explorer should be in the list. Just check it and hit OK.

While you can't install IE7 on a Windows 7 machine, there's a program called IETester which provides historical versions of the Trident rendering engine (the core of Internet Explorer). IE7 is included as one of those historical versions, so you'll be able to evaluate how a site renders, without needing to actually run IE7 itself.

Jan 26, 2011 · I have looked for internet explorer version 8 for windows 7 everywhere on the internet. I am surprised to find that the download page for windows explorer 8 does not list windows 7 as one of the OS for IE 8.
Mar 31, 2010 · With IE 8, open the Developer Tools F12, and make sure you set "Internet Explorer 7" as your Browser Mode and "Internet Explorer Standards" as your Document Mode. If this works, you can modify your compatibility view settings to always run the specific website in compatibility mode.
