2 days ago · For DaVinci Resolve 18.6 we have taken efforts to keep the project libraries compatible with DaVinci Resolve 18.1.4. While this allows you to access the project library with 18.1.4, individual projects created or opened in 18.6 will no longer be accessible in 18.1.4.

This will place a Resolve log file named similar to this on your Windows desktop: DaVinci-Resolve-logs-20181228_140434.zip (You may not see the .zip extension if your system is set to hide known extensions).

Projects from 19 can't be opened in 18, so if you go back you would have to revert to a backup that you hopefully created before upgrading. If you don't need to use any projects from 19, then yes, you can uninstall 19 and install 18.

6 days ago · Re: No sound whe playing clip in Resolve 18. If you don't see the audio meters bouncing, you are not going to hear anything. And yes, you should see Resolve in the Windows Volume Mixer. Make sure that in the Audio I/O area, that the I/O Engine is set to System and that the Output Device is set to Use System Settings.

1 day ago · I did some more google searches and found a changelog from Blackmagic stating that HEIC-support is implemented in the MacOS-version. But not for Windows (unless you have the studio-version). So i solved the problem by download a 3rd party software to convert the files into .jpg (HEIC Converter Free).
