Thankfully Sony don't make the same mistake on Ultra HD Blu-ray, which isn't really all that surprising given the prep-work down for the tardy Mastered in 4K Blu-ray edition.

Feb 28, 2005 · Brighton. Jun 9, 2024. #24. As a scarce/in-demand fun action movie, I give it an easy 7.5/10. As a Bad Boys sequel, just a 6/10. For me the Bad Boys tropes are the zinger bantz between the leads, the glamour and glitz of the Miami setting, fast-running souped up cars chasing criminals, and the obvious gun-fu.

May 24, 2020 · Bad Boys For Life may not be directed by Michael Bay, but its boasts the same colourful over-stylisation, and makes for the kind of format-defying 2K upscale which Sony regularly delivers, up there almost in the same league as the John Wick sequels. Gorgeous locations, plentiful use of primaries and bold and vivid tones, as strong black levels operating at the inky depth opposite end of the scale to the peak whites afforded by format, all come together to create some serious audiovisual prowess.

Oct 1, 2004 · What is clear though is that Bad Boys II is just an expensive, flash and over the top remake of the original movie.Set again in Miami the plot is very thin; Mike (Smith) and Marcus (Lawrence) are now part of an elite narcotics team sent in to bust a huge supply of ecstasy heading for Miami's nightclubs.
