Dec 2, 2023 · About two weeks ago, my fiancée approached me and asked me if I would be open to us having a bachelor's and a bachelorette party. This was something that made me really uncomfortable. Personally, I believe that these kinds of parties only serve to encourage infidelity before a couple gets married and that they aren't something I'd be interested in.
Switch gears..I’m in a wedding this summer and the bachelorette weekend is in Vegas. I live on the east coast. Plane ticket is going to be $$, even with CHEAP airlines (looking at you Allegiant and Spirit). Hotel is $600-$700 per person and we’re staying four girls to a room, two queen beds per room.
The only non-annoying bachelorette party I ever saw was a bunch of girls just relaxing at a winery, obviously drinking, but just having a good relaxed time and celebrating some girl time. All the rest of my experiences have been so decidedly negative that if my future fiance ever wanted to have a bachelorette party, I'd cancel the wedding, refund everything, and just elope.

EnjoyKnope. •. I really kind of hate how over the past 5-10 years the average bachelorette party has gone from one night of partying, maybe staying in a hotel, to an entire weekend-long (or longer!) event. One that involves getting on a plane and spending hundreds/thousands of dollars.

Jan 30, 2024 · Looking at my brother and the groomsmen - the bachelor party was a short drive up to the mountains where they stayed (for free) at a friend’s place, hung out, had some beers, and wished my brother well. Meanwhile the BM’s are spending our life savings, using up PTO, and putting in Olympic sport effort just to get through the bachelorette alone.
Feb 9, 2022 · Maybe have the movie in the background. Have food inspired from the movie….especially stuff labeled vegetarian. Maybe some fake blood made of food coloring in your food. Maybe give people a shimmery lotion or body spray or highlighter. I know the Cullens don’t have fangs but maybe fangs to give to people.
