Animal Husbandry Department was created in January 1944. Advantage was taken to avail the services of Sir Frank Ware C.I.E., F.R.C.V.S. retired animal husbandry commissioner with the Government of India to form a new Department of Animal Husbandry in the United Province under his able guidance.
The department is responsible for livestock and poultry development, disease control, fodder development and other animal husbandry activities. Users can get details about schemes, livestock census, breeding policy, veterinary hospitals, etc.
