Feb 22, 2023 · I've this issue, I've a Win11 laptop with AMD Radeon Graphics. I've installed latest driver and AMD Adrenalin Edition program from AMD website, but Windows Update keep disabling both. I've tried to re-install all, but after a while Windows Update again disable everything. How can I fix this? I would like to be able to use AMD program.
Nov 10, 2021 · Go to Control Panel > System & Security > System > Advanced System Settings > Hardware > Device Installation Settings. Then choose "No (your device might not work as expected)." Make sure to put a check mark "Show compatible hardware". Select an older driver from the list. Click Next then restart your computer.

I am able to install the graphics drivers from AMD fine. However, once I do, Radeon software stops working since it says the driver is not supported. I look in Windows Update history to see that Windows Update installed an older AMD graphics driver over the one that AMD installed. I also noticed that the screen brightness slider is gone after.
