There is a posting bot in 1337x chat room, which posts all the links to the chatroom about the torrents that are been uploaded to the site in real time. 2 weeks ago the bot suddenly stopped posting, and the admins decided to fix that.

I get the "Free VPN Account Recommended by 1337x" pop up. I am already using Firefox with Ublock. What finally worked for me was clicking the grey "Download without VPN" button on the popup. Right lick on "Download without VPN" and copy link, so now you have the magnet link on clipboard.

It's just a proxy. Since torrent sites so longer need.torrent files and instead use magnets, their entire website is miniscule. So when the RIAA or the FBI thinks that's finally got the big bad torrent tracking, 5 proxys pop up and not a single one needs a tracker thanks for magnet links and decentralization.
This happens on firefox, chrome and brave (the latter two actually have a message stating the browser is out of date, but both browsers indicate they are up to date). ETA: Okay, the solution is to disable adblock, reload, then re-enable adblock. Ah the weekly 1337x thread. I use 'NoScript' browser addon. No popups.
May 19, 2022 · 29 votes, 222 comments. true. i fixed this issue by when the pop up pops up that says "Download without vpn" or "get free vpn" Just right click on "download without VPN" click copy link which copies the url magnet for the download and paste that into any browser (works on chrome) which then allows you to download the torrent.
Check your device for malware if you downloaded anything from there. The likelihood of its downloads being malicious is quite high. The correct URL is actually https://1337x.to, and NOT 1377x.to. I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically.
