Ph.D in Forestry Ecology from the University of Montana, United States. Currently is Full Professor in the Faculty of Forestry Sciencies in the University of Concepción. He is the founder and director of the LIB, a joint intitiative from UdeC and the Ecology and Biodiversity Insititute.
