   We stopped for a couple hikes at Tettegouche State Park while visiting the North Shore. It was a really beautiful park and very enjoyable hikes. High Falls on Baptism River is about 3 miles round trip and moderate in difficulty.

   Is Tettegouche a good park?

   • AllTrails ranks Tettegouche 6th with Gooseberry as number 1. However, for me, the hike to Shovel Point Lake Superior and to High Falls on the Baptism River combined to make this my favorite park. I will say all the parks of the North Shore were great. It is just my favorite time and hikes happen to be in this park.
