The government has established a central university viz. ‘Sindhu Central University’ (SCU) in the UT of Ladakh to ensure increase in accessibility and quality of higher education, and to facilitate and promote avenues of higher education and research for the intellectual development of the people.
May 4, 2024 · Advt. No. 2024-25/01. Date: 4th May 2024. The Sindhu Central University is established by the Central Universities (Amendment) Act 2021 and the parliament has assented to the establishment of the University with the territorial jurisdiction of the UT of Ladakh.

Ladakh, UT of Ladakh (India) Advt. No. 001/2023 (001) Date: 7th June 2023. The Sindhu Central University is established by the Central Universities (Amendment) Act 2021 and the parliament has assented to the establishment of the University with the territorial jurisdiction of the UT of Ladakh.
M.A. Public Policy. A candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. The candidate should have Mathematics as one of the subjects at the level of class XII.
