Apr 27, 2021 · Don't make things hard for yourself. Schulich is mainly an accounting and marketing school. The math in core courses is very minimal and your introductory finance courses are gonna be far simpler than any other school. If you're looking to go into finance, IB, or consulting, you're prob better off going somewhere else.
May 5, 2020 · Secondly, Rotman’s environment is much more competitive compared to schulich. To go from year 1 to 2, u must maintain 80+ average in Rotman while in schulich, B- which is low 70’s is acceptable. The dropout rate in first year for Rotman is much higher from schulich as well. So schulich is better than Rotman in my opinion.

As someone who is in First Year in Schulich and got accepted in Rotman, Schulich, Ivey, Waterloo, TMU, YorkBcom, McMaster, UTM, etc , I think it is absolutely worth it. Here are the reasons: Almost all the big companies recruit students from Schulich. Companies like RBC, TD, BMO, Delloite, PWC, BCG, McKinsey, etc.
