Good Counsel offers tuition assistance to qualified families to help reduce the total cost of tuition. We encourage all students, both new and returning, to complete the online FACTS application each year.

Andy Stefanelli ’83 gained much of his football knowledge from working with Our Lady of Good Counsel’s all-time winningest football coach, Bob Milloy. Stefanelli has put that experience to good use since succeeding Milloy in 2017. Two years later, he led the Falcons to the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference championship.

Good Counsel is a Catholic, Xaverian Brothers Sponsored School that inspires lives of learning, faith and service. Located on a 51-acre campus in Olney, Maryland, we are just 15 miles north of Washington, D.C., 30 miles south of Baltimore and 3 miles north of the Intercounty Connector (Route 200).
To begin the application process, please submit an inquiry. To continue your Good Counsel application through Veracross click here. The application fee is waived until December 6, 2024 (Early Decision Deadline). After December 6, 2024, there will be a $300 non- refundable application fee.
Our counselors support students in their academic, emotional, and social development, with special emphasis on preparation for college. Our students are unique; they have different needs, experiences and goals. There is no “one size fits all” for school counseling.
