The largest-and most famous temple of Kadapa district is the Kodandarama Swamy Temple in Vontimitta (or Ontimitta). Set in a sprawling walled complex, the temple has three lofty gopurams and mandapas with a wealth of ornate carvings depicting Rama and his acolytes.
