Nov 3, 2023 · Cap de Formentor is the northernmost point of Mallorca. The name is often used to refer to the entire peninsula with its viewpoints, lighthouse, cliffs and beaches. It is famous for its high vertical cliffs dropping into the sea, some reaching 384m (1260ft) above sea level.
Visiting the Formentor Lighthouse is a must while staying in Mallorca. Drive carefully and keep in mind that this place cannot be accessed by car during the summer peak time only by small buses. The view was great and the wind was heavy upon our visit in late October 2023.
