This was originally supposed to be a mechanical level with space for tuned mass damper for earthquake protection. However it was calculated that this was unnecessary, which left a big empty space where the damper would have gone.

I rebuild every 50 floors so does it make sense to build to 100 to get 3 GT's, instead of the 1 GT for 50 floors when you consider how much longer it will take to get to 100 when you could have restarted and be on the way to 50 again.

How is the experience different for level 125 and level 148? Also, I read that level 148 viewtime is limited for 30 min only. So, it that 30 min experience worth for extra 230 AED. Jul 31, 2022 · Hello I'm visiting Dubai for the first time and I'm wondering how to best take tour of Burj K. I heard about long lines and saw pretty expensive tickets for the tour & people complaining that you dont even get to skip the line so I'm curious to see what the best option is.
Mar 23, 2019 · A normal zipline has something like 4-5 degrees of angle, something the height of the Burj Khalifa and approx 21km to Romford from central London gives an angle of ~ 2.2 degrees, so a little shallow. Somewhere like Barking or Seven Kings might be doable though.
Nov 20, 2022 · Sunset is the best time I agree, but hundreds of other people are going to have the same idea and come at the exact time, which is why 4pm-7pm is rated as the busiest times to visit Burj Khalifa. As for the elevator lines, the Express ticket is a much better option you could have opted for, which will easily give you a 10 minute waiting line instead.
Nov 11, 2021 · I rent a 2 bed in Business Bay - 5ish min drive from Burj Khalifa - and I pay 80k AED a year. BK has a lot of prestige and recognition but it's not that great to live in. Surrounded by traffic, constantly busy with foot traffic, no balconies for most apartments and a bit too big to navigate and feel like home.
