Sep 25, 2022 · Maybe Pilani is but Goa and Hyd are way behind. The only reason someone would leave a seat at IIT for BITS is only if they are getting toilet eng at IITs but CSE at BITS Pilani-Pilani. In the same sense BITS Goa and Hyd are behind Pilani campus by a huge margin. Pilani is better than the top NITs but Goa and Hyd are placed after the top NITs.

Feb 17, 2023 · Nope. AFAIK only TRC, Da Vinci and IMC have hired from Pilani before (mostly only for software dev rather than quant). Da Vinci came in 2021-22, IMC in 2022-23 and TRC London came for SI in 2022-23. For lateral entry (as a quant) in these firms you need to have quant experience elsewhere.
