The Texas A&M University at Qatar offers bachelor’s degrees in chemical engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and petroleum engineering, as well as two graduate degrees in chemical engineering.
Since the fall of 2003, Texas A&M University at Qatar has offered Bachelor of Science degrees in chemical engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and petroleum engineering.
Texas A&M University at Qatar (TAMUQ) is a branch of Texas A&M University located in Education City, Al Rayyan, Qatar. The university was established in 2003, and is slated to close by 2028. [4] [5] The university offers undergraduate degrees in chemical, electrical, mechanical, and petroleum engineering.
At Texas A&M University at Qatar, engineering students take courses in the fundamental disciplines—mathematics, sciences, and liberal arts—that will prepare them for the rigorous technical training that follows. This training is dedicated to specialized studies in one of the four engineering fields offered at Texas A&M University at Qatar.

The inaugural class of Texas A&M at Qatar began on 7 Sept. 2003, with 29 students, of whom 24 were Qatari and 15 of these were female students.
