Welcome to ePASS! Enhanced ePASS account features are now available for Food & Nutrition Services (FNS) and Medicaid. With an enhanced account, you can access online features such as enrolling in electronic notices, receiving secure messages, and completing online renewals.

If you are a representative ( or designated authorized representative) for an individual or household and have minimum information necessary to apply for benefits for the individual or household, you can apply for benefits through ePASS.

You may call your local DSS to get information about how to use an authorized representative if you need one. If you choose, this person will receive an EBT card and will have access to your Food and Nutrition Services. An Electronic Benefit Transfer Card (EBT) is a plastic card you use at the store to buy food.
Upload documents online through your ePASS account (see How do I upload additional documentation through my ePASS account?), or; Mail, fax, or bring documents to your local county Department of Social Services (DSS) office. Create an NCID Account. An NCID account is required to log in to ePASS and submit applications. If you or the individual you are assisting does not have an NCID account you will need to create one.
By enhancing your ePASS account, you will gain increased access to your case. This requires two-step verification when you sign in to ensure your account is protected. The first step is your username and password.
