Oct 11, 2023 · Thanks to M$ updating windows 11 to now have a transition animation when switching desktops, wallpaper engine flickers horrifically when switching desktops. I've solved for now by disabling all windows animations.
Oct 5, 2021 · Windows 11 Screen flickers when changing wallpaper. I have a folder of wallpaper images set to 1 minute rotation to avoid static images on a OLED TV as monitor. Every time the background changes theres is a significant screen flicker as if something else is being briefly displayed.
