Nov 1, 2021 · Windows has always had poor PDF support and that does not seem to have improved in Windows 11. I have tried both the built-in "Windows Fax and Scan" app and the "Windows Scan" app from the Windows Store. Neither of them will scan multiple pages to a PDF file which seriously is the most basic requirement for a scanner app in 2022.

Mar 10, 2016 · CamScanner on Windows Store. I was amazed by NAPS2, because it's free and open source, and simple as well. It really fits the ordinary user's needs. I have used NAPS2 with RICOH SP112su for scanning 52 pages into a single PDF, and it worked like charm. It's worth mentioning Microsoft Office Scanner on Android and Windows Store.

Jan 9, 2010 · Hit command-space. Enter "Image Capture". Press Enter. Now the application "Image Capture" is started. Select your scanner in the left bar. Click the "Show Details" button on the bottom of the window. Change the "Format" field to "PDF". Now the "Combine into single document" checkbox appears. Enable that checkbox.
It can generate multi-page PDF files. VueScan is the name of a tool that comes to my mind. It's not compatible with all scanners (most of them are supported; compatibility list here; for Windows, WIA scanners are supported). Unfortunately is not free. But it has the feature "Scanning to a multi-page PDF file".

I can't figure out how to scan multiple pages into a document on Windows 7 using Windows Fax and Scan program. Using the same printer, (Canon MX300), I can scan in multiple pages to a single file on my old XP using Windows Office Document Imaging. It works great.
Hi Stephen, your scanner does not have the capability to scan multiple pages to PDF. this functionality is also lacking in Windows 10 You will need a 3rd party app to be able to scan multiple pages to a PDF A really good and free options is NAPS2 - Not Another PDF Scanner!
