Sep 4, 2020 · Everything seems to be well, signal quality is subpar however my internet speed is 21.7 Mbps. Yet when I perform a speed test on my device, my download speed reaches a maximum speed of 0.4 Mbps, and then stops the speedtest and says that I cant connect to the speed test server.
Feb 8, 2023 · Just tried your suggestion. Fiber optic internet service up to 1 gig, but at computer (across about 80 feet of house) varying between 50 and 100 Mbs. Didn't restart PC. Tested with trwo speed test apps. Speed doubled. Thanks.
Feb 24, 2024 · Reconnecting to the wifi afterwards is very hard and takes a few minutes. I did speed tests at the same distance from my router on my Iphone and on my pc, so the distance couldnt be a problem. I have a TP-Link Archer AX1800 TX20E Network Adapter and i use 5Ghz wifi.

My phone got 189 Megabits, but my laptop got a depressing 3.46 Megabits. I ran it again and i got around the same, never passing 5.

I have a gigabit ethernet service. When I run an internet speed test I get somewhere between 14 -40 Megabits/sec download and 15-30 Megabits/sec upload (on a good day).
