Mar 23, 2018 · You can I'm always logged in on 2 PC's at least at the same time. You can even download on one and play on the other. Also you can install games on PC while giving the command to do that with another PC or SMA. You just can't play with both online at the same time only with one.

You can (theoretically) have infinite computers with one account, but only one can play online at a given time. The best way to guarantee no problems is to exit STEAM on the machine that is not being used for games at time. If both of you want to play games at the same time, one has to be offline.
