There is no offline installer, however you could copy over the Steam files from another PC, install the Steam Service onto your PC, wipe any user data and that would work.
Jan 7, 2013 · Is there a way for me to have a full installer of the Steam client, instead of installing the smaller client and downloading the rest of the files? The reason why I ask because I have a slow Internet connection and it would be far quicker to download the full package, so can be reinstalled easily (i.e. on my 2 PCs and a laptop) and then does a small update once installed, rather than a big update.

Feb 3, 2021 · Any advantage to using the desktop software vs the Steam link hardware? if you can't find the hardware link (long out of production) you can load this on a windows 10 based htpc, or on an older laptop that can't run the game but can handle the streaming. I think a better question is, any point in using this standalone app instead of regular Steam?
