When I open some games on my computer steam says, "Running" for about two seconds, then says "syncing" and closes the game. I have tried restarting my computer, verifying game integridy and cashe for those games, and turing off virus protection.

May 13, 2016 · Game instantly closes itself as it starts. I started the game, it got to the loading screen, and then for some reason it just closed itself. Jun 14, 2013 · Steam starts up then instantly closes. I have been using Steam on Windows Vista and it was working a few days ago, but now it wont start. There is no error message or anything, it just closes in a under a second. Trying to update it doesn't work either. It just says it's "unavailable".
