Pull = A person’s ability to attract sexual partners. “I feel like I could pull Erin from homeroom.” Rizz = Comes from “charisma”, but refers to specifically sexual attractiveness or charm. “I got Joel’s number this morning, I’ve got him drooling.” “Unbelievable rizz.”
- AF — As f**k.
- A mood — A relatable feeling or situation (often shortened to the single word, “mood”)
- And I oop — Used when something is really surprising or provocative.
- And that’s on [something] — Used to indicate that you’ve just shared a truth that needs no further discussion.
- Fam. Fam is a shorter word for family, but don't be fooled—it can be used to describe your friends or the way Millennials use "bro".
- Glow up. This means a makeover or transformation from bad to good.
- CEO. If you're the CEO of something, it means you've mastered it or you're a pro.
- Cancel Culture. Cancel culture is a form of shaming the actions or opinions of a public figure, company or organization.
Teens in this day and age have their own set of slang words that make understanding their conversations challenging. As parents, hearing or seeing their exchanges with peers and not understanding a thing can be baffling, or even worrying.
