Hi, I would like know how to fix the processor isn't currently supported for Windows 11 (Intel Core i3-7100 CPU @ 3.90GHz) but I have the exact processor with 3.91GHz. Since today (5 October 2021) is Windows 11 official release, and I really wanted to install that but I only have one problem which is the processor while I have the exact processor with the 3.91GHz thing.
just one year back I purchased Dell Latitude 5480 model (i5-7200U Ram 20 GB 1TB HDD). I still feel wonder too much that, why windows11 doesn't allow an i5 processor? Even windows 11 can support the below version processor than i5. Why windows 11 not supporting Intel(R) Core i5-7200U CPU @ 2.50GHz, 2701 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s).

Read at official Windows blog: As we release to Windows Insiders and partner with our OEMs, we will test to identify devices running on Intel 7th generation and AMD Zen 1 that may meet our principles. i7-6700 is a sufficient cpu for windows 11.

The processor requirement is the most restrictive; supported processors include 8th-generation and newer Intel Core processors as well as AMD Ryzen 2000-series processors and newer. These are all chips that launched in late 2017 and early 2018. Older computers can't officially run Windows 11.

It meets or exceeds every other requirement except one; "this processor isn't currently supported for Windows 11." "1Ghz or faster with 2 or more cores" is required. My PC is 3.37Ghz with 4 cores.

It is possible to install Windows 11 on an unsupported processor using the Windows 11 ISO, I have Windows 11 installed on an unsupported Core i7 7700QH processor and Windows 11 runs very smoothly, however Microsoft advise you do not do that, they will not be liable for any problems caused by doing that and also you would not receive Windows 11 updates
