We’ve been having a lot of clients call in with an issue where Outlook has the “Trying to connect” message where all of the normal troubleshooting steps (such as those here ) don’t resolve the issue. We have found that by disconnecting the Office 365 account from Settings>Accounts>Access work or school and then rebuilding the mail profile gets that issue resolved.
