Sep 26, 2023 · Since last windows update, I can not open my print queues. Settings, Printers & Scanners, Printer. When I click "Open Print Queue" nothing happens. I have done a few hours of research and found nothing. I have removed all printers from system & reinstalled, NO CHANGE. I cannot open the queue using the "normal" method. Any help would be appreciated.
Oct 6, 2022 · In previous versions of windows 11 and windows 10, I was able to access the devices and printers options from control panel instead of settings. Now the devices and printers from control panel opens the settings, which lack some options, especially the option to turn on or off handsfree telephony for Bluetooth devices.

Nov 15, 2019 · By the way the issue seems to be isolated to Control Panel's Devices and Printers, as well as Printers & Scanners in the Windows 10 settings. You can manage the devices in print management without an issue, so it's just those 2 interfaces that seem to be affected.

Oct 8, 2019 · It has a network laser printer that was not a problem, but a local laser printer and three Thermal Label Printers that were all problematic. The problem cropped up after upgrading the system from Windows 7 to Windows 10-1903. I was able to resolve the problem by logging in as a local admin and removing all the printers.

Jan 3, 2020 · Button for open Queue, in printers and Scanners part of settings in win 10, virtually blocked The button, that does appear, for opening the printer queue, is visible but cannot be clicked - due to the name of the next printer being highlighted when the mouse pointer is over where the "Open Queue" button is!
