In this 'Page Layout' dropdown box Click on 'Custom' to expand the customizable options. 4. Click on 'Content' and toggle to 'Content Off'.

Click on them, and then the "Hide stories from (source)." You'll have to confirm you want to hide the source, but once you do that, that source will not be in your newsfeed in Edge.

Jan 20, 2023 · Close Edge and then reopen it. You should now see the "wheel" icon in the upper right corner of the background photo . Click on the new wheel icon, scroll down to Content and open the drop down list. Select "Content Off". Close and reopen Edge and all the crazy news feeds will be off.

I will be happy to assist you in this regard. Try this step to get back the news feed: 1-Open Edge. 2-Click on the Gear Icon on the top corner in the right. 3-In the Page Layout tab, select Informational (as shown in the image below) 4-You can select Custom and choose more news feed options as well.
I've uninstalled microsoft news but I'm still seeing the news stories. I would suggest that you completely remove the the Widgets app from your taskbar - see here -and pin the Weather App to Start / Taskbar. There are links to non-Microsoft websites in this reply.
Mar 3, 2023 · Turning off the news feed from the start page is currently not possible. However, you can get rid of it with a simple tweak. Go to Settings and change the Open with option to new tab page. New tab pages don’t show the news feed by default, so this setting will hide it on browser launch. I don't see these options.
