My Microsoft Word now posts a dialogue box that "converts PDF to Word"; but it messes up the format. I've downloaded an attachment (a shipping label) and tried to print it. The Converter pops up automatically and I'm forced to allow it.

Jun 3, 2019 · I save Word documents as PDF files regularly by opening the document up in Word (Office 365), then selecting File> Clicking "Save As"> Then clicking the drop-down file type selector to Select "PDF (*.pdf)> Then Click the Save button. Aug 24, 2020 · Word in Office 365 can open a pdf file, so simply use File>Open and change the type of file to AllFiles (*.*) or PDF Files (*.pdf) so that the pdf file will appear in the files that are available to be opened. Note that the Word document that results may be very difficult to edit.

Then if you need it in Word format and it is not, convert it directly to Word. This will cut out one conversion process and make for fewer editing problems.

Mar 9, 2016 · My solution was to remove the standalone version of Skype for Business 2016 and install the Office 2013 component Lync 2013 and then use Windows Updates to upgrade Lync 2013 to Skype for Business 2015. Please reply if you need more details. In short, Office 2013 Word and standalone Skype for Business 2016 causes the pdf converter to fail.
