What I find really interesting about this theory is that, if it's true, shouldn't more women want to be a man's first girlfriend?

Idk if it’s true but from a personal perspective, everyone I’ve dealt with essentially had one or/ and the other. My very first love. Said I wasn’t his first love but the one that got away. First love is usually in high school and a person changes a lot from then to adulthood. As a dude in his 30s, high school feels like a lifetime ago and I hardly think of my first love. It's a bullshit idea that was probably made up by a salty woman who was mad that her ex moved on and couldn't stand being old news.

May 9, 2024 · If that's true, then I've yet to have my first (real) love. Yes. It depends on the person I guess. It's true in my case. I was dating this girl for 2 years back when I was 17, it was 10 years ago. Never got over her. All my relationships afterwards felt like I was going through the motions.
To all the people arguing, it needn't be your first love for the person to be etched in your heart. If the guy is someone's boyfriend he has long stopped loving his first love, but if the person hasn't moved on, he wouldn't be in a relationship yet or probably never will be, simple as that.
